Terms of Service

By contacting Furred Out Kreations! and making a down payment for your project, you are agreeing to the following terms of service.

Warranty

Furred Out Kreations! provides each product with a 1 year full warranty followed by a life time limited warranty. Warranty coverage is for work done by FOK! exclusively and does not cover work or alterations done by any other person(s), entity(s) or organization(s). FOK! reserves the right to withdraw a products warranty due to, but not limited to, reasonable grounds of suspected misuse or tampering of the finished product. Full warranty details can be found in our warranty document. Warranty policy may change without notice, and an up-to-date copy will always be available for download from the website.

Concept Art

FOK! requires some form of visual concept art for accurate quotes and project completions. Written descriptions of character, various forms of references, and lack of information (unless artistic freedom is granted for project) is not acceptable. FOK! does not guarantee 100% accuracy from the art to the final product, however FOK! will do their best to meet the needs and requests of their customers.

Duct Tape Dummies

FOK! requires a duct tape dummy along with several measurements for full body suits, 3/4 suits, and heads. For help on how to make a duct tape dummy for body suits, we recommend visiting our How To webpage for a detailed instruction manual. Measurements required for body suits need to include from wrist to top of shoulder, both arm extended horizontally and set at the side, and a leg inseam from ankle to crotch, legs set at shoulder width apart. And for duct tape dummy heads, we require a crown measurement which is the circumference of the head where a hat would normally rest on an individual.

Contracts, Completion Dates and Communications

FOK! will only agree to contracts and projects with individuals who are 18 years of age or older upon the date of contract agreement. All written contracts, including anything agreed upon via e-mail, is final and may only be altered upon the grounds that both parties involved agree on the changes. E-mails and Facebook Messenger conversations will be the only acceptable form of contract changes and communication. Any form of communication outside of e-mails and Facebook Messenger is not considered legal and binding, unless expressly written and documented in a face-to-face environment. FOK! does not guarantee any agreed upon completion date, however FOK! will do their best to meet the customer’s demands and needs. Any estimated dates or timelines given are never guaranteed.

Progress Pictures and Updates

Progress Pictures, Works in Progress photos, and any other general updates are not guaranteed and are handled on a case-by-case basis. FOK! will do their best to upload work in progress pictures as projects are in process of completion, however FOK! reserves the right to withhold such pictures and updates for any reason.

Payment Terms

Furred Out Kreations! requires a minimum of a 30% non-refundable down payment in USD to secure the customer’s project on either the Wait List or To-Do List. The date in which the 30% down payment is received is considered the start date for the agreed upon contract and project. Payment plans are available and are to be agreed upon before any payments are accepted. Acceptable forms of payment are Cash, Check, Money Order, and PayPal. FOK! is not responsible for lost or late payments. Any late payments, bounced or returned checks are subject to a $35.00 USD fee. Payment dates are taken from the date of marked postage if by mail. Final products will not be released until full payment is received.

Changes during Construction

Furred Out Kreations! will to their best to accommodate any needed changes, however major changes that would require an alteration of concept art, such as (but not limited to) new/different markings, LED additions/changes, Digitigrade/Plantigrade changes, or different colors or markings/hair/fur/ect. FOK! reserves the right to deny any requested changes after an agreement has been made.

Shipping

All quoted prices include shipping within the United States except where it is expressly written. Most packages are shipped via priority USPS with additional insurance coverage for items valued over $500 and will require a signature upon receiving. Use of other shipping provider or expedited shipping, are available upon request for an additional charge.

International shipping is available for customers outside of the United States. FOK! asks that commissioners cover the cost of shipping and to understand that International shipping comes with delays and additional costs beyond the control of FOK!

In the unfortunate event product damage is incurred during shipping, FOK! is not to be held responsible and will gladly make any fixes necessary as long as shipping costs to FOK! is covered. FOK! will cover the cost to return the product back to the customer.

Refund Policies

Refunds are available no later than 60 days after product postage date in the unfortunate event a customer is not satisfied with FOK! or their product(s). Refunds will be given in the form of a mailed bank check for customers within the continental United State of America. Other options will be discussed for individuals not located within the continental United States of America. Any refunds given for a product or service thusly voids the warranty in full for the product. Only the minimum 30% down payment will not be refunded.

Cancellation of Project Policy

In the event a customer requests the cancellation of their project, FOK! will refund whatever amount was not used for services and/or materials with exception to the 30% down payment. FOK! will thusly become the owner of the product. FOK! reserves the right to make changes to the unfinished product and put up for auction, and will do their best to avoid any major copyright qualities of the previous owner.

Privacy Policies

FOK! will not sell, distribute or release any customer’s personal information. Any information collected and stored is for FOK!’s exclusive use and will only be accessed for specific needs to conduct business or unless requested by a court of law.

Copyright Notifications

FOK! will not accept any commission or project for copyrighted characters for any person(s) who do not own or expressly have written proof or consent to use said copyrighted character. FOK! understands that each product is a creation of another’s specific character(s) and does not own the rights to said character(s), however FOK! reserves the right to use photos taken of the product for non-profit gain unless otherwise stated in writing by owner.

Allergy Warnings

FOK! works in an environment with both cats and dogs, and at times, a few other unwelcomed guests. FOK! makes every attempt to ensure all products are clean and sanatized before shipment, however FOK! will not be held liable for any allergy problems that may occur from product use. If you have an acute allergy to any pets, chemicals or products, please let FOK! know before commissioning any project so that FOK! can make any necessary precautions.
